Specials

After the City and the Grindel cinemas closed, both known for their English language programme, the traditional English sneak preview moved to the Streits in March 2008. Every Monday at 2030 you'll have the opportunity to witness a screening slightly different from the usual procedure.
This sneak preview is usually well booked, you should buy your tickets early or consider a subscription.

In May 2008, the Streits started with regular screenings of movies in English as well. While there are other theatres in Hamburg showing films in their original version, too, the Streits is usually the only one having current blockbusters.
